    • Fraser River Trail – Ideal for all beginner skill levels, this trail is paved. It winds along the Fraser River and will take hikers to downtown Winter Park. Fraser River Trail is about 2 miles, each way, from Winter Park Ski Resort to the downtown area.
    • Lower Roof of the Rockies to Fantasy Meadow – Get your fill of wildflowers on this 2.2-mile loop trail. 
    • Creekside Flume Loop – This intermediate 5-mile loop hike offers minimal changes in elevation, but maximum views.
    • Jim Creek Trail – Challenge yourself with this uphill, 7-mile round-trip hike. The first 1.5 miles along Discovery Trail is good for beginners, but the remaining 2 miles on Jim Creek Trail are more rigorous.
    • Columbine Lake – Another 7-mile round trip hike, this one also has a challenging ascent. The views of the alpine lake are worth it, though!
