Should You Visit Winter Park in the Winter?

Winter in Winter Park is magical; there are days of both snow and sunshine, making it an ideal place to get outside and embrace the cold, no matter your age or athletic ability.

The snow-capped mountains that make up the Winter Park ski area are calling! Will you answer? Whether you ski, snowboard, or love a winter hike, you’ll find something for everyone in the Grand County hamlet that is Winter Park.

    Kid-Friendly Activities

If your kids love animals, find the Winter Park Safety Patrol Dog Team at a booth or event during the season. Be sure to thank them for all their hard work on the slopes, and maybe grab a souvenir plush pup at one of the Winter Park shops (proceeds help fund future training of the dog team!).
